VIVIENNE returns to North Country Theatre.
Having just returned from a sabattical, VIVIENNE GARNETT will be straight back to work in North Country Theatre's forthcoming production of THE PRISONER OF ZENDA. This adaptation of Anthony Hope's novel will be performed outdoors across the north of England from May 27th until July 12th.

SIMON heads to Riverside Studios.
Having just completed his UK tour of TOM, DICK & HARRY, SIMON RYERSON will next be seen in The Stage Company's production of FACADES. Written and directed by Keith Wait, this play will be running at The Riverside Studios from 23rd April to May 5th May and will see Simon play the principle character of Feydor in 1787 Russia.

PAUL THOMAS at Theatre 503
This weekend, Paul Thomas will be one of only five actors doing closed workshopped readings of extracts from several new plays, with London playwrights Collective at Theatre 503.

His roles include a young boy with magical powers, an angry teenager, an undercover spy, an Eastern European people trafficker and an out of work actor who stumbles into a murder mystery!

Upstart Theatre will be occupying the Union Theatre between 13th and 31st May with performances of ZOO and Water Sculpture. Zoo is directed by Jessica Beck. Both plays are from the pen of rising talent Dawn King.

TAYLAN HALICI in RADIO 4 PLAY & Screening!
Taylan Halici plays Serkan in the new radio play: THE CITY SPEAKS. This drama will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on 19th & 20th March. There will also be a screening of a film made to accompany the radio recording, on Monday 10th March at NFT1, BFI Southbank.

Andrew Barron has just been cast as Mark Dixie for a 40 minute CRIMEWATCH special on the investigation, trial and subsequent conviction in the Sally Anne Bowman murder case. This will be broadcast on BBC ONE at the start of April.

PAUL THOMAS will be playing JAMES STEPHENS in a rehearsed reading of ABOLITION? by Rob Inglis. Bringing together contemporary accounts from existing records with songs about both the period and the people, the play will highlight the fact that slavery is still a problem in today's "modern" world. The reading takes place at The Friends House, 173 Euston Road at 5.30pm Thursday 25th October and then at St Pancras Old Church, Pancras road NW1 at 7pm Friday 26th October. Admission is free.

In this two-hander, written by Rob Milliken and directed by Mariele Runacre Temple, Paul plays John - a 13 year old kid who meets a very strange girl, who seems to know him and who he thinks he knows too... This is an eerie and thought-provoking piece, which will be available on-line soon.

Another Linkie with a job at the Kings Head - ANDREW BARRON will be doing SHORT AND SWEET - part of the Kings Head Young Directors Programme. This consists of two American shorts by David Ives; where Andrew will be playing Bill in THE SURE THING and Al in THE PHILADELPHIA. This runs from 17/10 for 2 weeks.

He's the devoted and adoring house husband who looks after the twins while Mrs. Plug goes out plumbing.
